（吉隆坡12日訊）財政部長林冠英說，被充公的一馬公司（1MDB）的資產將被貨幣化並儘快歸還給大馬。
他在會晤美國駐馬大使雷荷花后在其推特上這麼表示。
他表示，在會議上，雙方討論了美國大量投資和企業對大馬的重要性。
「她向我保證，從1MDB充公的資產將被貨幣化並儘早歸還馬來西亞。」
林冠英自出任財政部長后曾透露，由於1MDB無力償還債務，財政部已經代一馬公司支付了69億7514萬令吉的款項。
美國司法部在2016年和2017年期間一連3次入稟法院，尋求充公源自一馬發展公司（1MDB），被指不當挪用的資產，累積款項已近17億美元（約72億令吉）；這些資產包含奢侈品如由大馬富豪劉特佐所擁有，造價逾2億6000萬美元的超級遊艇「平靜號」（TheEquanimity）。
